Hello, we would love to say a big welcome from us at St Luke's Grayshott.
We are a friendly welcoming community, made up of people from a wide range of walks of life. Our primary unifying characteristic, is a love for and desire to worship Jesus Christ, through an understanding of His life, death, resurrection and ascension. We do this throughout the year, following the Church Calendar, which focusses on different aspects of the story of God's love reaching out to us all, in the different seasons of the year.
Worship is our response to God, it affects all aspects of our lives; how we see other people and how we live our lives are part of our worship. We are a community that seeks to build each other up in faith. We are centered around love for one another, and our neighbours, and praise for God.
We are a fairly mixed group that appreciate our Sunday worship services in different ways. Some are more traditional and others more contemporary. To cater for this we have two different services. A 10:30 contemporary service with band style music, and an 18:00 service that is in traditional style (Book of Common Prayer - 1662) and on the first Sunday of each month, a Youth Service at 19:00 led by our Youthworker.
We also run several small groups in homes, that are a great way of getting to know people better; these happen on different days throughout the week.
On a Sunday we run a post Church Zoom chat that you would be welcome to join.

The word translated from the original language as 'Church', actually means 'gathering'. So Church is about community more than it is about the place where we gather. Our vision as a Church is to be 'good news' to our parish; to be a place where people feel like they are connected into a loving community, growing a sense of belonging within the church. We believe that to grow in our walk with Jesus we need to be connected with him.
We want to be a place where people can grow more committed to support the church in our our mission to serve the community of Grayshott, and see the lives of many transformed through our commitment to Jesus and his Gospel.
We want to be a church where people can grow in their confidence in using their gifts to glorify God. We believe that to grow in our walk with Jesus we need to be confident in Him, in his love, his power, and in his purpose for each of our lives.
