Twinkling lights, crunchy grass, choirs singing, fires roasting, giggling, memory making and laughter. What are your memories of Christmas?
At St Luke’s we are passionate, about providing opportunities to gather with family and friends and to remember what we celebrate at this time of year – Jesus! Our various events offer a chance to encounter and deepen your experience of the Christian faith as well strengthen relationships within family and friends and the community.
This year we have a host of events that you can engage with that are suitable for all ages. We do hope that you will join us!
No booking needed for services, just turn up and join us as we celebrate the most wonderful time of the year!

Advent carols – As Advent starts take a pause and join us for an uplifting service of Christmas carols and readings.
Christmas Craft Afternoon - Join us on Sunday 7th December for a creative and chilled afternoon doing some craft. Suitable for all ages, but under 16s will need to be accompanied by an adult. Nativity Service – A service for the whole family walking you through special story of Jesus’ birth. Experience the highs and lows of how Jesus was born. Students from Grayshott Primary will be joining us for this service. Refreshments will be available from 10am beforehand.
9 Lessons and Carols – A candlelit service which traces the Nativity story through nine Bible readings interspersed with carols and hymns. The readings, from both the Old and New Testaments, cover the fall of humanity, the promise of the Messiah, and the birth of Jesus. Mulled wine will also be available.
Candle service for families - The Candle service is short, lively, child friendly celebration of Christmas with favourite carols and an engaging family centered theme. We aim to bring some fun and share the excitement as a community as we look to the central reason for the festival.
Carols in the Square - A whole village event to gather together on the village green with carols and mulled wine. All welcome.
Midnight Mass - As Christmas Eve draws to close, join us for a time of quiet and the opportunity to take Communion with carols.
